Auto Industry Speak Glossary Part 1
Good Job
Definition: A phrase uttered with little sincerity by higher management or customers. It is usually used in a situation to convey an understanding that no matter how little time or few resources you are given, you will still get the job done. It actually does express gratitude in terms of the fact that they now realize they can make the job as convenient for them and as inconvenient to you as possible, and you will still accomplish it because you know that failure means losing your income.
