I Hate Yardwork

Michigan Stadium and Ford Field have it. It looks great and it's durable enough to play college and pro football on it. So give me one good reason why I can't have FieldTurf installed in my front and back yards.

I'll admit it. I have to mow the lawn right now, which is exactly why I'm typing this blog entry at the moment. I don't want to do it. I hate yardwork. It takes too much work to keep lawns looking nice, particularly when my neighbors have super weeds growing in their yards that keep wanting to move into ours. So I figure, if I throw down some FieldTurf, I won't have to maintain it much. I won't have to spend money on lawn mowers, fertilizer, weed killer, bug spray or watering. We can still play on it and it will feel and give like real grass. And it won't look like the Brady Bunch yard.

Why not? Tell me, why not?

Now if only I can get some good fake trees so I don't have to deal with raking leaves in the fall...
