Insanity

Work has been hell.

I've been at my current position for almost 5 years and I can't remember a single time where it's been so crazily busy for such an extended period of time. I mean, really, when I go to work, I expect to be able to earn my paycheck with minimal effort.

As much as I'd like to whine and moan about it, I realize it's probably not cool to go in to huge details about incidents at work. You just never know who might eventually be reading. However, I will say the extreme deluge of projects in our group has exposed some serious cracks and personality conflicts in my little corner of corporate America. The current climate would probably make a great reality series right now. Maybe I should bring in my camcorder for the next few weeks and make the show myself.

But to at least make some sort of point so that this isn't a completely useless entry, know that some of you out there who are going through some major beatdowns at work aren't alone, and that the storm will eventually pass through.

Yep, this is what long hours at work will do...sap my energy and cause me to write a really bad blog entry....
